UNAIR NEWS – Covid-19 pandemic that has hit various regions in the world, makes many parties work together. In Indonesia, the pandemic has inspired a sense of unity for mutual cooperation to combat impact of Covid-19.

This time, as part of an institution that concentrate on handling the Covid-19 cases, Universitas Airlangga continues to receive supports. Both in the form of medical equipment and money that can be used for other things. An aid in the form of funds came from PT. Erlangga and was received directly by UNAIR Rector Prof. Moh Nasih on Wednesday, April 15.

Being held in Balairua Hall of UNAIR Campus C Management Office, Subekti, the Branch Manager of PT. Erlangga in Surabaya said that the aid is proof that Erlangga’s Publishers were concerned and gave a response to covid. The mandate, he added, was a direct instruction from the director of PT. Erlangga in the main office.

On the occasion, he also said that in the future there will be many things that can be done together between UNAIR and PT. Erlangga , both in learning and research.

Responding to this matter, Prof. Nasih said his gratitude to PT. Erlangga for the support given. In that case, Prof. Nasih also revealed that under these conditions, cooperation in the form of access to books from PT. Erlangga for free might be possible.

“Considering that our students are currently studying at home. Maybe if this can be realized under these conditions, it’s very useful, “said Prof. Nasih.

Furthermore, Prof. Nasih also said that in order to overcome this pandemic, it was impossible for him to work alone. Collaboration, he continued, is really needed to be a good step.

“Hopefully in the future strategic cooperation can be carried out better between PT. Erlangga and UNAIR. Mainly to develop many educational and research programs, “he concluded.

After receiving a donation from PT. Erlangga, on the same day UNAIR also received assistance in the form of 100 million rupiah in cash from BRI. The assistance is a part of BRI Cares program which is also channeled to support UNAIR, in this case through RSUA and LPT to handle Covid-19 Pandemic.
