Vice Rector II appreciates performance of UNAIR administrators and supervisors

UNAIR NEWS – In the of the Work Meeting and FGD for Administrators and Supervisors of Universitas Airlangga, Vice Rector II Dr. Muhammad Madyan SE., M.Si., M.Fin., gave a speech appreciating all participants from the directorates to administrators and supervisors within the faculty.

Being held at Illira Hotel, Banyuwangi on Sunday evening, January 26, 2020, Madyan explained that the beginning of the year was the right moment for HR improvement and structuring. Furthermore, Madyan also explained, in response to the policy of the central government which wanted to simplify the bureaucracy, that the university welcomed the effective bureaucratic arrangement through administrative and supervisory officials.

“This way, there is an expectation for us to carry out duties and functions better,” he said.

Madyan also explained the roles played by all administrative and supervisory officials were significant. Mainly, in supporting the performance of lecturers at UNAIR. Madyan also mentioned the target of UNAIR to achieve Top 500 World and it could not only be done by the rector and his staff.

“Administrators and supervisors will certainly determine that role,” he said. “And it has been proven that last year we have entered Top 650 of the world. This is a good achievement which certainly cannot be separated from the role of all attendees, “he said.

In the end, Madyan also invited all the attending to shout UNAIR HEBAT and asked several participants to explain the length and meaning of each word. Before closing the remarks, Madyan again advised that administrative and supervisory officials to optimize their performance.

“In the future, with the title as a global university, the burden we all carry will be heavier. For that reason, let’s improve our self-quality for better performance, “he concluded.
