UNAIR NEWS – The first meeting of Universitas Airlangga Rector Selection Committee (PSCR) for 2020-2025 marked the starting process of 2019 UNAIR Rector Election agenda from January 20 to January 30, 2020.
Chairman of PSCR 2020-2025 Prof. Dr. Suryanto, M.Si., Psychologist, in the meeting conveyed one important point of PSCR performance was the inclusion of trustworthy rector candidates with integrity. He also hoped that PSCR can be a way of worship to improve UNAIR.
“The committee will start the agenda starting in January, and the inauguration of the new chancellor will be held in June 2020,” he said.
In response to this statement, Vice Chairman of PSCR 2020-2025 Iman Prihandono S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D., said that PSCR members are made up of core committee, a dissemination team, a verification team, and a technical implementer. Six people in the core committee are Chairman of the Committee Prof. Dr. Suryanto, M.Si., Psychologist; Vice Chairman Iman Prihandono S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D.; First Secretary Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan S.H., C.N., M.H.; Second Secretary Dr. Eko Supeno, drs., M.Si.; First Treasurer Dr. Endang Dewi Masithah, Ir., MP .; and Second Treasurer Karnaji S. Sos., M.Si.
“The closest agenda for Rector Selection Committee is to hold a dissemination program,” he said.
“The dissemination will be held four times, covering Campus A, B, and C, “he added.
The dissemination, explained Dr. Iman, is scheduled to be held on January 6-9, 2020. In details, the first dissemination was held at Room 301 Kahuripan 3rd floor to leaderships of faculties or BPF (Faculty Advisory Board) on January 6, 2020. The second dissemination was held at 2nd Floor Hall, Amec Hall, Faculty of Medicine to Campus A lecturers, students, and students on January 7, 2020.
“The third dissemination was held in Fajar Notonegoro Hall of Faculty of Economics and Business to lecturers, to students, and staff in Campus B on January 8, 2020. And, the fourth dissemination will be at Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Faculty of Pharmacy First floor to lecturers, students, and staff of Campus C on January 9, 2020,” he said.
Dr. Iman said that the next agenda after the dissemination was the registration of prospective rectors on January 20-30, 2020. Next, on February 10-12, 2020, the announcement of the election results of the rector candidate was scheduled. Then, on February 17-28, 2020, Campus Community Test will be held.
“On March 2-3, 2020, Fit and Proper Test will be held,” he said.
“Then, on March 16-20, 2020 there will be an announcement and presentation of fit and proper test result. On March 23-April 3, 2020 there is election and appointment of rector in 2020-2015. The inauguration of the rector of Universitas Airlangga 2020-2025 will be held on June 16, 2020, “he added. (*)
