UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) as one of the best universities in Indonesia made another achievement in the national stage. Kemala Sari Agusti, a student of Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR successfully won 3rd place in 2019 Gebyar Cooperative Cooperative Competition.
The Cooperative Esssay Contest is a series of activities organized by Bogor Agricultural University Student Cooperative (Kopma IPB). The competition was held online through essay submission. Participants in the competition came from various universities in Indonesia.
Interviewed by UNAIR News on Monday, October 21, Kemala Sari Agusti revealed her struggle to win the essay contest. According to her, she focused on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
“I’m focusing on MSMEs, I did research from several journals and joined seminars related to MSMEs,” she said.
Kemala said she submitted the essay during her time on campus. In the process, she had participated in seminars on topics related to MSME. This was done to deepen the solution to the problems faced by MSMEs in Indonesia
“After that, I tried to consult with a lecturer about my idea, and he said my idea was good. Hopefully, it could be developed and implemented in Indonesia,” she added.
Kemala claimed that she was the type of person who wanted to give her best performance in everything that she did. Thus, in the process of making the essay, she explored some research in quite a long time.
Furthermore, she hopes that UNAIR will be better in the future. She hoped that there will be a new idea coming from students.
“I want to give my best to God. I want to prove that as a woman I can achieve my goal, “she concluded. (*)
