Strengthening Ties, PGA Tournament Held Again

UNAIR NEWS – In order to strengthen ties, Airlangga Golf Association or PGA held another tournament. The event held at Pondok Indah Golf Course, South Jakarta on Sunday, October 13, was attended by alumni golfers of Universitas Airlangga and stakeholders.

UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih gave a response regarding the event which was also held successfully last year. According to him, such tournament is capable of boosting enthusiasm and showing determination of golfers to be the best in their respective fields.

“These activities can also raise the reputation of alumni and alma mater and gather positive energy for the progress of the nation and beloved alma mater,” he said. “We really hope that the participation of all parties, especially golf lovers and their institutions, will continue make this tournament successful for the following years,” stated Prof. Nasih.

Moreover, Prof. Nasih also revealed that such activity can expand networking for cooperation between players in different fields. For this reason, he hoped that Universitas Airlangga alumni golfers will be able to establish good relations with stakeholders.

“On behalf of the leadership of Universitas Airlangga, we welcome and appreciate the activities carried out by Airlangga Golf Association (PGA). It means PGA could continue to accommodate and facilitate golf lovers especially from Universitas Airlangga Alumni environment so there is close and positive friendship and brotherhood between them, ” he concluded.
