UNAIR NEWS – Faculty of Vocational Studies (FV) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) through the Department of Entrepreneurship, D3 Banking Management Student Association (MB) held Stock Workshop on September 28 at Vocational Hall Campus C UNAIR. The event was a seminar and training about the world of stock. The event carried out “Dari Saham untuk Indonesia yang Berkualitas” as the theme, and there were Dyan Fajar Mahardika as Executive Trainer from Indonesia Stock Exchange and Edi Purdiono, one of the representative from Indo Premiere Sekuritas as the speaker.
The event was held to promotes stock development for the millennial generation. Thus, stocks will be an asset of economic power that can bring Indonesia for a better future.
“Furthermore, stocks will be an asset of economic power that can bring Indonesia to the better future,” said Muhammad Zaki Zamani as the head of the committee.
“We raised the theme of ‘Dari Saham untuk Indonesia yang Berkualitas’ because stocks are in great demand on the economic world in the last period,” explained by him.
50 participants showed up in this event, and they are introduced to financial market product type. Participants are expected to take part in the world of stock and strengthen the national economy.
Participants were provided with stocks and financial markets theories. Besides, participants received training on buying, selling, and opening a stock account also discovering the risks.
“Participants do not only get the theory,” he said.
“They are also equipped with training on buying, selling, opening a stock account, and the most important thing is discovering the risks,” he explained.
The event is expected to attract even more young people to realize a better quality of the nation in the future.
“Hopefully, more young people will be enthusiastic and contribute in realizing a better quality of nation in the future,” he concluded. (*)
