The tagline is expected to be a guide for graduates when they enter the community after completing their studies.

Every graduate must have humility because, without it, the knowledge applied to society has no meaning. The excellence of graduates in every field of science is undoubtedly a valuable asset.

Bravery, Prof. Nasih gave an example of Bung Tomo on 10 November 1945 incident. The graduates must have the courage to be like Bung Tomo who always persevered to fight for the truth.

“I advised the graduates after being humble, excellent, and brave, graduates must be responsive or agile in overcoming a problem,” he said.

Also the value of piety (transcendent), everything will be more meaningful if they are done with sincerity to God Almighty. The Will and Grace of God Almighty will always protect every activity undertaken.

Prof. Nasih also advised the graduates to always innovate with the knowledge they have. The complexity of rapid development is where the role of graduates fills in with the knowledge they have.

The graduates continued the 13th UNAIR Rector, have the duty to return the favor to those who had contributed so far. The role of parents becomes significant because thanks to them, the graduates were supported financially and they even worked hard for their success. The lecturers and educators should not be forgotten as they also educate and give knowledge.

In the graduation, Prof. Nasih also awarded e-money from Bank Mandiri to five graduates who were able to answer the Rector’s challenges.

At the end of his remarks, Prof. Nasih congratulated and wished success to all the graduates. Prof. Nasih hoped the graduates would retain the alma mater’s excellent reputation and have HEBAT values. (*)
