UNAIR NEWS – As a routine agenda for leaders of Universitas Airlangga, Leadership Work Meeting (Rakerpim) is a forum for conducting various evaluation and future planning. In the second quarter of 2019 Work Meeting held on Friday, July 12, the evaluation of the first six months’ performance and planning of future action activities was the main focus.

Being held at Amerta Hall, Management Office Campus C UNAIR Hall, UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih in front of the leaders of faculties, directorates, institutes, centers and boards in UNAIR conveyed many several things primarily related to the performance from the first semester and several strategic plans that will be implemented in the second semester.

“Of course, from the data presented, we will know which activities and things we need to improve and plan well in the future,” said Prof. Nasih.

Before giving a lot of direction and input, Prof. Nasih gave an opportunity to the vice rectors to show data on performance results during the first semester of 2019. It started from field I which deals with curriculum, quality of education, accreditation, student affairs, field II which deals with finance and resources human, field III about research and community service, field IV about information systems and alumni, to field V related to internationalization.

From the reports submitted, there are several faculties, directorates, centers, institutions, and boards in the UNAIR environment that have a positive track record, with achievements from field I to field V. However, there are also several work units that need future improvement.

“From these findings, we have a reference for action planning in the future. Even though something is missing, once again we are all in the right corridor, and we all have good commitments, “said Prof. Nasih. “For that reason, I expect better preparation related to many matters, in the future we should be more responsive and faster in carrying out actions,” he concluded.
