Expand Students Experience by Conducting Comparative Studies and Business Visit

UNAIR NEWS – The ongoing digital era by technological developments and advances demands all parties to continue in creating and expanding relation. It is also reinforced by the fact that the are competition.

In response, D3 Office Administration (Study Program) Universitas Airlangga held a Comparative Study and Business Visit at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) and PT Coca-Cola Amatil, on Thursday June 27- Sunday June 30. The activity was attended by 56 2017 Office Administration D3 students and accompanied by a lecturer Rahmat Yuliawan, S.E., M.M., as Student Association Advisor (HIMA) D3 Office Administration.  

The activity is not merely for vacation, but it is an annual activity and routinely carried out by Office Administration D3 Study Program. The purpose of the activity is to provide experience directly for students.

Besides, Zhafran Rasyid Almusawwa as Head of HIMA D3 Office Administration explained the activity was an activity to build relation and find out information about the professional world related to lectures. “In addition, to become a place to get academic knowledge, comparative studies and business visit are also the right places to add insight to students. Such as sharing session which filled with the organization of work program between HIMA and PT Coca Cola Amatil, “he added.  

The activity is also to establish the future cooperation and improve the quality of both parties. In addition, it can also be an evaluation material or an opportunity to develop innovation for the next work program.

While the business visit activities that took place at PT Coca-Cola Amatil aimed to see firsthand how the production process was and also to know how to market it. This will certainly provide hands-on experience and can be useful for students’ knowledge.

“This kind of activity is an opportunity that can be the opening door of relation or a bigger picture for the world of work that will be undertaken later,” he said. (*)
