UNAIR Invites Thematic KKN-BBM Students in Tuban Regency

UNAIR NEWS – Area distribution of Community Service – Learning with the Community (KKN-BBM) Universitas Airlangga continues to expand. After working on various regions in East Java such as Banyuwangi, Jember, Lamongan and Gresik Regencies. For the first time, 60th UNAIR KKN-BBM Tematik team is ready to serve at Bumi Wali, Tuban.

The team of 150 students will be involved in two sub-districts in Tuban Regency, Bangilan District, and Jatirogo District. Before going to KKN location, hundreds of students along with several accompanying lecturers and UNAIR leaders were received directly at Auala RH. Ronggolawe Tuban Regency Government on Tuesday, June 02.

Representing UNAIR leadership, Prof. Dr. drh. Suwarno, Msi., In his remarks gave various directions to hundreds of students who were ready to encode in 15 villages spread across two sub-districts. According to him, the main thing that must be maintained by students is keeping the good name of alma mater and being able to carry out their duties properly.

“According to Rector’s mandate delivered by Prof. Djoko, you must keep the good name of Alamamter and show an attitude of excellence with morality, “said the professor of FKH UNAIR.

Furthermore, there were Tuban Regency officials who were present, Prof. Suwarno, who is also a native of Tuban expressed his gratitude for the various supports that have been given. For him, the first KKN-BBM program in Tuban Regency could be the beginning to establish cooperation and implement various good programs in the future.

“Hopefully with the first KKN-BBM activity at Tuban Regency, it will become a way for the cooperative relationship between UNAIR and Tuban Regency Government to run well,” he said.

In the end, Prof. Suwarno also said UNAIR students would participate KKN-BBM at Tuban Regency from July 2 to 27. On July 16, students would conduct joint monitoring and evaluation in the future.

“Once again, KKN process is a form of student learning in the middle of the community to provide solutions and various new views from the knowledge that has been given during their time in class,” he concluded.
