Crowned as ‘GrandPrize Winner’, Ayuma Promotes Indonesia in Face of Asia 2019

UNAIR NEWS – Ayu Maulida Putri, a woman who passionates on modeling world, currently working in the international modeling world. She won the overall champion Face of Asia 2019, Asia Model Festival held in South Korea on June 7.

Ayuma is the final semester student of Faculty of Law (FH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR). The student managed to set aside 79 models from 27 countries in the 14th year of the prestigious Asian festival. Also, she won several Sponsor Awards and became Top 10 on Face of Asia Model 2019.

“Of course, I’m pleased, shocked and beyond grateful, “said the model.

Ayuma is known to be confident and ‘perfect’ in almost every session. “The assessment is very complex. We (the models, ed) have to be professional models. Exercise on time, discipline, responsible, catwalk, and casting audition also model behavior,” she said.

During the event,  she was pessimistic in participating in this international event. However,  she made a target to be the winner of Face of Asia 2019 since the beginning.

“From the beginning, I try to be optimistic. Thank God, I got this award. It’s like a blessing,” she said.

Furthermore, Ayuma is also active in ‘Senyum Desa’ social activities. She said that being active in such activities can add experience and share with others.

“For Senyum Desa, I’ve been contributing since the beginning because it brings a significant impact to others, “she said.

To UNAIRNEWS, Ayuma shared her exciting experience from the competition, which lasted for half a month. Thus, I was fasting during the competition here, and it is a hard struggle because I have never experienced it before. So, we did fasting from three to eight at night, ” she said.

Besides Ayuma, four other delegations were representing Indonesia. Namely, Zian Alfin, Chealsea McKenzie, Joel Leo Pollock, and Alfrida Alifia.

She plans to take part in another more significant competition “There is one of my secret goals. Hopefully, it can be achieved, “said Ayu. (*)
