BEM Kabinet Juara UNAIR Visit PSDKU Banyuwangi Campus

UNAIR NEWS – The visitation of Student Executive Board (BEM) to Off Main Campus Study Program (PSDKU) UNAIR Banyuwangi seems to be a routine agenda every year, even since 2014 BEM UNAIR helped establish the highest organization in PSDKU, Student Family (KM).

On Sunday, May 26 took place at Minak Jinggo Hall of Banyuwangi Regency Government, BEM UNAIR 2019 Kabinet Juara brought around 20 administrators to discuss with PSDKU UNAIR Banyuwangi student.

In his remarks, Bondan Sigit Purnomo Aji as Head of KM 2019 expressed his gratitude to BEM UNAIR staff for coming to Banyuwangi.

“Although, we are separated by distance and time between Surabaya and Banyuwangi, the most important thing is that our friendship and brotherhood are intertwined, and we represent student in Banyuwangi,” said the veterinary student.

The forum divided into two sessions, specifically between the management of KM and BEM UNAIR and the second was a discussion with PSDKU students from UNAIR Banyuwangi.

Starting a special discussion or group discussion (FGD) forum between KM and BEM UNAIR staff, Agung Tri Putra as Head of BEM UNAIR Kabinet Juara had the opportunity to introduce his Kabinet. According to him, Kabinet Juara is a motivation in facing globalization, so UNAIR students become a champion.

“Since the name of Kabinet KM this year is Kabinet Harmonis, I can conclude that Universitas Airlangga students must be better with a harmonious process,” he said.

Moreover, the second session was a joint discussion between BEM UNAIR and UNAIR Banyuwangi PSDKU students, who were invited by representatives of each student organization on Banyuwangi campus, starting from HIMA, Semi-Autonomous Agency, and Community of Interest and Talent.

The discussion brought the results of Banyuwangi campus Airlangga Open Forum (AOF) which was held on Thursday, May 2 where AOF results were a form of student escort to UNAIR Banyuwangi PSDKU campus development.

“As representative of BEM UNAIR, I’m ready to help student in Banyuwangi campus, we will also help through Rector together with UNAIR students in Surabaya,” Agung explained.

At the end of the discussion, Head of BEM UNAIR Kabinet Juara hoped that UNAIR Banyuwangi PSDKU students would continue to work together.

“I’m glad that the meeting this time is different from before and finally we can work together,” he said. (*)
