UNAIR NEWS – Ramadan is the right moment to share with others. Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Internal Supervisory Board (BPI) holds donation with iftar gathering with orphans. The activity was held at Ashabul Kahfi Mulyosari Orphanage in Surabaya on Friday, May 24.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. H. Soegeng Sutedjo, S.E., Ak., CA as Head of BPI UNAIR with the team and 50 orphans at Ashabul Kahfi Orphanage were there. Also, the activity filled with adzan competition, memorizing short surah competitions and Al-Qur’an reading competition and then continued with Maghrib prayer together with iftar gathering and giving back the donation.
Dandy Evan, one of BPI UNAIR team said the activity was aimed at providing donation and iftar gathering with orphans.” The funding for this event comes from BPI UNAIR team. Hopefully, it will foster BPI UNAIR team gratitude towards the community,” he explained.
Burhan, as the orphanage administrator was pleased for BPI UNAIR in holding the event. “Thank God, children are happy. Thank you for Internal Control Board (BPI) UNAIR who have been carried out donation and iftar gathering event with orphans,” he added. (*)
