UNAIR NEWS – Batik is one of the world cultural heritages from Indonesia. Indonesian should be proud that it has a national cultural heritage recognized internationally.
Moreover, since 2009, batik has received international recognition and is officially part of UN Representative List of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organizations (UNESCO) as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
