UNAIR NEWS – On April 13, 2019, Postgraduate School Student Association (HIMASEPA) UNAIR will hold a Scientific Article Writing Workshop for International Scientific Journal themed “Towards Scopus Indexed International Journal”. The activity will take place in Postgraduate School Building, Campus B, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya.
In this regard, Dio Prasetyo Budi as Head of HIMASEPA UNAIR 201-2020 said that the organization he led was a student organization for Masters and Doctoral degree students in Postgraduate School with 6 Master’s programs (Human Resource, Law and Development Science, Forensic Science, Police Studies, Immunology, and Disaster Management) and 1 Doctoral program (Human Resources).
The workshop was held by HIMASEPA UNAIR, he continued, aimed to help fellow UNAIR students to complete one of the graduation requirements, Scientific Article Publication in Scopus Indexed International Scientific Journal. This workshop is also open to fellow students from other universities.
“So, for colleagues who do not know about the procedures of writing scientific articles for Scopus Indexed International Journal category, or who want to add and gain insights around writing articles in Scientific Journal, this workshop will be very useful and should not be missed, “he explained.
The concept in the workshop will be distinguished between the Science Journal and the Social Journal, and there were counseling sessions directly from the speakers to the participants.
“In this workshop, postgraduate students will be trained by speakers who are very professional and experienced in the field of International Publication,” he said.
For the science field, he continued, participants would be guided by Prof. Dr. Ir. Agoes Soegianto, DEA from Faculty of Science and Technology, while for the social field, participants will be guided directly by Prof. Dra. Myrtati Dyah Artaria, MA., Ph.D from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
“Certainly this workshop will be very helpful for you in writing scientific articles that can reach Scopus indexed International Journals. This quality workshop is quite affordable by fellow students and the quota is limited to only 75 people, so you are strongly advised to register immediately before the quota is full, “said Ardhita as head of committee.
Three days before the event, all students who have been registered in the workshop are expected to submit scientific article drafts which will be published to the committee so that the speakers can correct and be presented and guided directly during the workshop.
