“We (HR management, ed) must think about how people who enter the community, after completing their term of office can be better,” he added.

In his presentation, Izzan explained about the grand design of human resources (HR), the pattern of obtaining, advancing or developing, and maintaining HR. Then there are three stages in the grand design, they are recruitment, maintenance, and development.

“Things that need to be considered in the recruitment process are the number of HR, availability of positions, analysis of job information, terms of position and selection process,” he added.

Furthermore, Izzan also shared his tips on how to communicate. According to him there are ten points of Interest in effective ways of communicating, the purpose of speaking, topics, listeners, connection, senders, duration, voices, gestures, body language and feedback.

Izzan continued, there are five principles of communication that a speaker must have. This principle is usually abbreviated as REACH. They are respect, empathy, audible, clarity and humble. In a communication, the speaker must also be able to convey the message properly and correctly in an effective way.

“There are four main keys to communication, complete, clear, concise, and correct,” he concluded.

Amanda Rosalina, next speaker focused on classification and analysis of organizational problems. According to Amanda, HR managers must be able to distinguish whether complaints made by member of organization is a problem or not.

“Look, listen and feel. Sometimes the problem is that we really don’t know what the problem is, ” she said.

Furthermore, Amanda explained the process of analyzing problems that often arise. In problem analysis process, there are three important stages that must be passed.

“First, identify the problem based on various aspects, then analyze the problem from internal and external factors, finally determine the scale of priority,” she explained. (*)
