UNAIR NEWS – Official Result of SNMPTN State University National Admission Selection (SNMPTN) was announced on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) admitted 1,695 prospective students from a total capacity of 5,457 students in UNAIR. From that admitted students, 384 or 22.7 percent of them are Bidikmisi scholarships recipients.

The 2019 SNMPTN UNAIR applicants reached 12,000 students. There are several programs with the highest competition including Nutrition, Biomedical, and Statistics. In addition, Midwifery and Library Science Program admitted students from SNMPTN are all female.

In front of the press, the Rector of Universitas Airlangga Prof. Moh. Nasih said, regarding the admission through SNMPTN, there is still one more step for prospective students to be declared as UNAIR students. It is verification of factual data related to the condition of the prospective students. Prospective students are asked to prepare themselves with all necessary documents until Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

“Prospective students are expected to prepare themselves with all the necessary documents until April 17th. One of the urgent issues is to immediately upload data related to economic capacity and curriculum vitae, so that evaluation can be immediately carried out to determine the amount of a single tuition fee (UKT), “he added.

All programs at UNAIR also require health statement letter from all prospective students, such as BPJS and non BPJS insurance, as well as drug-free statement. For programs which do not receive color blind students, a test will be conducted. They are Medicine, Chemistry, and Pharmacy.

On the occasion, Prof. Nasih congratulated students who have been accepted. For those who were not accepted, they should not be discouraged because there is still a chance for First period of Computer Based Writing Exam (UTBK) which will be closed on Sunday, March 24, 2019) at 10:00 pm.

“Keep up the spirit to prepare yourself as well as possible because indeed the capacity for SNMPTN is limited. Insya Allah with better preparation, there will be success. Let’s just say the failure at SNMPTN is a delayed success, “he added. (*)
