BEM FEB 2019 Focuses on Providing Treatment for HR Development

UNAIR NEWS – This time, UNAIR NEWS team had an opportunity to interview Head of Student Executive Board (Kabem) Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR 2019, Muhammad Hanif Ichwanudin. Precisely on Monday March 18, 2019.

Through Election (PEMIRA) held in awhile ago, BEM FEB has new leader. Officially, in accordance with the Decree of Dean FEB, Muhammad Hanif Ichwanudin elected as Head of BEM (Kabem) FEB started on January 1, 2019.

As the new leader, the student who familiarly called Hanif said that one of BEM FEB target in 2019 period focused on HR (human resources) development through various programs. “For internal BEM, we provided various treatment for human resource development in BEM. For example, through coaching and feedback also by participating in staff development programs in the cabinet.” he said.

The 2016 management student also expressed the importance of each individual to inculcate the value of 3R (Respect to People, System and Time) and ROOMPK. Such as being humble, objective, open minded, moderate, prestigious, and contributive. Indeed, all efforts to develop these human resources are to plant values.

“We hope everyone who joined BEM can be reliable person and get new insight” he said.

In addition to improving soft skills, students can improve ther communication, leadership, lobbying, and managerial skills. Furthermore, by joining a student organization (ormawa), students can do many positive activities.

“Hopefully this year in our cabinet, all of BEM member can get closer to the community, especially in the faculty,” he said.

“This year, BEM is expected to be a medium to get closer to each other,” he added. (*)
