Active in Organization and Working Since College, Adinda Becomes the Best Graduate in FIB

UNAIR NEWS – It cannot be denied that foreign students do have better independence than Indonesian students. Morever, they are accustomed to work in early age. This was the background of Adinda, the best graduate of Faculty Humanities (FIB) and working since college.

Adinda Vicky Clarasati, the best graduate of FIB has started working since she lost her father and which together with the bankruptcy of her family business. She worked in various job fields such as event organizers, part-time, customer service, tutors, and translator.

Even though she had to share her time between college and work, she still became an extraordinary student. Managing to pay her tuition, helping her family’s economy and becoming the best graduate.

“Because, college is my priority!” Said Adinda.

Unlike others, Adinda actively participated in organizations and has been involved in various competition. She has a passion in the field of public speaking.

“Alhamdulillah, with my passion, I have been entrusted as Head of Research and Development Division at Hima Study Program and became a delegates in several conference, one of her achievement was became UNAIR representative in Bali Democracy Student Conference sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” she said.

In her thesis, Adinda choosed war news programs specifically for teenagers and then observe it and find out if the program is suitable for teenagers. According to her, this material was interesting to discuss, because the access of information is widely open.

“What caught my attention the most was because war news tend to contain violence, while those who consumed the news were teenagers that still not having emotional stability” she explained.

According to her, all of students have great potential to be outstanding student. The key is believing in theimselves.

“In addition, a sense of responsibility will also encourage us to develop and become the best version of ourselves.” he concluded. (*)
