This week Peeping Comm aired a film entitled “The Revenant”.

The activity was held at FISIP UNAIR Mini Theater on Thursday, March 14 2019. The activity started at 1:00 p.m.

The weekly screening activity was welcomed by their loyal audience. There were several UNAIR Communication Sciences students. Although, the activity was post-pone due to a delaying sound, the audience could still enjoy the film The Revenant.

After that, the weekly screening activities were also filled with question and answer session with audience. The audience consisting of Himakom members was given an opportunity to ask questions about the film.

Not only asking each other, they also expressed criticism and praise for the film. One viewer thought that the film was a bit boring and had too many conflicts. Meanwhile, other audiences also thought that the cinematography presented in the film was so unique.

“I was very happy when the main seat in this mini theater was full. Which indicates the enthusiasm of the students was quite high and makes this activity more colorful and festive. Hopefully positive things like this can be maintained. “said Airlangga, as Head of Peeping Comm Club.

“I hope this activity can be better in each process so they can spread a positive impact for the audience.” he added.

Airlangga hopes it will be a medium of discussion and a place to exchange ideas with other students. Especially, in order to be more productive and critical in the activities that they do.

In addition, The Revenant is a survival-action genre film directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu based on book with the same title.

The film stars are Leonardo Di Caprio, Tom Hardy, and Will Poulter. The 156-minute film received an award in Academy Award for best actor, best cinematography, and also best director. (*)
