UNAIR NEWS – Universitas Airlangga and Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia are carrying out various collaborations in the development of education, research, and community service.

It was proven by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) meeting held in UNAIR Rector’s Office in Campus C on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Attending the event were the leaders from the two institutions.

Before the MoU, representatives from each institution provided a report on various collaborations that had been carried out so far. UNAIR’s faculties had carried out various collaborations with MSU such as, FK, FKG, FF, FEB, FST, and also Airlangga Global Engagement (AGE).

On that occasion, UNAIR AGE Director Prof. Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih said that the collaboration carried out with MSU included student exchange programs. Some MSU students are taking part in AMERTA program, and some UNAIR students also went to MSU to learn leadership.

“The collaboration that has been running so far has been very good, they (MSU, ed) have often sent students to study in UNAIR, and vice versa. We are well received at MSU, ” explained Prof. Nyoman.

On the same occasion UNAIR Rector Prof. Nasih said that such performance should be continuously improved in terms of quantity and quality. Because the two institutions have shared a mission to become a world-class university.

“We certainly will fully support many things related to the collaboration we have together. This is all for improving the reputation of MSU and UNAIR, “said Prof. Nasih.

In response to Prof. Nasih’s statement, MSU President Prof. Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid repeatedly expressed his gratitude to UNAIR for welcoming the delegation several times. According to him, the visits were made to strengthen ties between both institutions.

“Because this is more meaningful and effective. This is evident from the many things we plan to run well, and this cooperation is not just for MSU but for all,” he concluded.
