UNAIR NEWS – Music Corner as an arena for academics to share their hoby in music at Faculty of Dental Medicine Universitas Airlangga finally opened. Music Corner was launched on Monday, February 18, 2019.
The opening event was led by Dean of Faculty of Dental Medicine Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Darmawan Setijanto, drg., M.Kes. He advised that the entire academics community should use this art arena.
“Music Corner is intended for all community members who want to reconcile their souls while they are busy with work.” said Darmawan. “However, don’t forget to clean the room and don’t be noisy because it is quite close to several lecture rooms,” he added.
The opening of Music Corner was filled with band competition for lecturers, educational staff, and clinical students. Furthermore, FKG gave a prize worth of Rp. 3,000,000 for 1st Place, Rp. 2,000,000 for 2nd Place, and Rp. 1,000,000 for 3rd Place.
Music Corner located next to FKG canteen room. Thus, everyone in canteen can enjoy a live music experience while taking a break. In the future, Music Corner can be enjoyed near FKG cafeteria at lunch time. (*)
