UNAIR NEWS – The performance of Fadly Padi officially closed Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) in 2019. The largest education exhibition held by UNAIR succeeded in attracting enthusiasts from all over Indonesia to come to Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), from February 15 to February 17, 2019.
Wearing a black shirt with a black hat, Fadly performed ten songs, Kolam Susu, Rumah Kita, Semua Tak Sama, Bernyanyilah, Love of My Life, Kasih Tak Sampai, Sahabat Selamanya, Begitu Indah, and Sobat.
The Makassar-born singer who was 1998 alumnus of UNAIR Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), managed to amaze audience since Fadly appeared from behind the stage to sing a song called Kolam Susu, created by Yoen Koeswoyo, Koes Plus.
In the middle of his performance, Fadly sang a song titled Kasih Tak Sampai. The audience sang along the mellow lyrics from the song, waved their hands together with Fadly “tetaplah menjadi bintang dilangit, agar cinta kita kan abadi, biarlah sinarmu tetap menyinari alam ini, agar menjadi saksi cinta berdua,”.
The crowd went wilder as Fadly sang a song titled Sobat. In fact, Fadly did not hesitate to invite the audience prancing along following him.
“O.. oh sobat Maafkan aku mencintainya aku tak bermaksud membuatmu sungguh tak berarti, O.. oh sobat maafkan aku mencintainya aku tak bermaksud membuatmu sungguh tak berarti,” Fadly sang and followed by the audience.
In the end of his performance, Fadly thanked his alma mater, for all knowledge he gained with other Padi members. He encouraged UNAIR students to find what they were looking for while studying at Universitas Airlangga.
“Find your own potential in UNAIR, and keep learning, because the future of our nation (Indonesia, ed) requires your passion and work,” Fadly said in the end of his performance.
