UNAIR NEWS – The last day of Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) 2019 was filled with participants from various regions. The participants were very enthusiastic by visiting each of faculty booth stands. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) booth stand stole participant attention with various animals on display.
Not wanting to lose, other booths also tried to get participants attention in various ways. Among them was postgraduate school booth held photo contest with a total prize of Rp. 1,500,000. Likewise, Faculty of Medicine which provided eye and ear health test services for participants. In addition, there were several uniqueness from each booth, competing to win as the best booth stands.
The event were also enlivened by various talk shows to further motivate participants and karawitan show. Talkshow was opened with topics related to Student Exchange delivered by Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri P as director of AGE UNAIR.
“By participating in student exchange, a sense of humanity, sympathy and empathy can arise from each other. Thus, there will be no wall boundaries between countries, “said Prof. Nyoman
Furthermore, Dr. M. Hadi Subhan as UNAIR student director also enlivened AEE 2019. At the event, Hadi presented material related to scholarships and bidik misi provided by UNAIR.
In addition, UNAIR also invited outstanding graduates to share experiences and motivate participants. Prigi Arisandi shared experiences related to his actions as an environmental activist and Drs. Ec. Putut Sri Muljanto, MM as director of operations and commercial PT. Pelindo III was also there.
Next, there were two students guided by PPKK UNAIR explaining their experience while running a business funded by PPKK.
In addition, dr. Vera as ENT specialist and Dr. Setiyani as eye specialist also representative from FK participated in introducing FK to participants. Both of them also provide an opportunity for participants to ask related to FK questions or consultations
In the end, best booth winners announced during the event. Moreover, blog and vlog competition winner for high school students throughout Indonesia also announced in there.
