UNAIR NEWS – Dian Pratama is one of Bidikmisi student from PSDKU Accounting study program batch 2017. Becoming a Bidikmisi student does not prevent him from achieving achievements. Moreover, Bidikmisi students must be able to become more accomplished.
“We can study in college because of public money, if we don’t reciprocate with achievement, then it can be said as corruption,” said Dian.
In the end of this semester, after completing the two papers in UB Malang previously. Dian had the opportunity to present his third paper entitled “Kampung POPPAY (Papaya Processed Products) innovation to increase Macanputih Village community productivity” in COMDEV (Comunity Development National Symposium) located in Hotels Aryaduta, Jakarta.
The activity that took place last week was a series of SFLD (Sampoerna Financial Literacy Day) events organized by Sampoerna University. The POPPAY village itself is clearly a community service activity held by Accounting Students 2018. The event was included in a series of FORZA (Accounting Zone Orientation Forum) activities which happened to be chaired by Dian Pratama.
“The purpose of committee’s activities to establish papaya processing education tourism village, which it can increase the productivity of Macanputih village community,” said Dian.
Amazingly, not only one event was attended by Dian. At that time, his paper entitled “Accounting Tribe Osing (Preliminary study of Ethnography)” worked with AA. Gde Satia Utama and also Khusnul Prasetyo also passed the selection to be presented at International Conference on Financial Criminology. However, the presentation was conducted by AA. Gde Satia Utama, located at Santika Kelapa Gading Hotel, Jakarta.
While Dian Pratama was in charge of representing AA. Gde Satia Utama, his lecturer to present a paper entitled Narcissism Narrative Text: Analysis of Semiotic Disclosure Annual Report of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk. in ISBEST (International Seminar on Business, Economic, Social Sciences and Technology) located at Century Park Hotel, Senayan, Jakarta.
“At that time I had to use English and it was an unforgettable experience for me,” said Dian.
Even though he has a background as Bidikmisi students, Dian’s passion in making achievements is exemplary.
“We are encouraged to be humble, but forbidden to be insecure. Never hesitate to make achievements. Especially if you get a Bidikmisi scholarship. We use public money, so it should be used wisely to make everyone proud, “concluded Dian.
