Campus Ambassador Winner Becomes 2019 HMA Head

UNAIR NEWS – Dian Pratama, the winner of PSDKU UNAIR Campus Ambassador in Banyuwangi 2018 received a mandate as Head of the PSDKU UNAIR Accounting Student Association (HMA) in Banyuwangi.

The mandate was officially received after going through a long process of grand election (Pemira) which was attended by all PSDKU UNAIR Accounting Program students in Banyuwangi, public testing, recruitment of 2019 HMA board members, and continued with a handover procession.

The student had previously been a staff of HMA in 2018 period and served as a regeneration staff. Before college, Dian had also served as Head of Student Council in Ihya ‘Ulumudin Banyuwangi Vocational High School. Dian also loved batik and fond of regional arts, especially gamelan.

Dian who likes writing has won a number of achievements, such as Winner of 2018 PSDKU UNAIR Ambassador, among 50 most active and best UNAIR blog writers, Oral Presenter in Community Development National Symposium, Sampoerna University Jakarta, qualifying for full paper presentation at the International Conference on Financial Criminology Jakarta, Oral Presenter at the National Seminar on Community Service, Universitas Brawijaya Malang, Oral presenter  for national poster seminar of community service Universitas Brawijaya Malang.

Abhinaya Cabinet

Together with his deputy Nofel Andriawan, Dian formed Abhinaya cabinet with a total 40 students in the management. Dian also said that the motto of Abhinaya cabinet is character, enthusiasm and loyalty. The logo is yellow and becomes red more upwards. It means that the spirit of Accounting students must be getting stronger and greater by years. There is one foundation of fire that mobilized and built the organization, class 2014.

“The fire forms a keris which means that we must love culture,” said Dian.

The hands that uphold fire shaped like a trophy symbolizes the spirit of accounting for achievement, in line with abhinaya missions: solidarity and a spirit of achievement.

The flower bloom red like roses with three petals. Rose is a symbol of “fragrance”. Fragrance is an allegory of abundant blessings. Rose in Javanese comes from the word Mawi Arsa or the will of intention.

“Roses can also be interpreted awar-awar or to be sincere. It makes your heart sincere. So in serving as an HMA administrator, you have sincerity, and do something selflessly, “concluded Dian.
