“I won first place in English debate on Faculty of Economics and Business Student Week 2016 and ASEAN +3 University Network (ASEAN + 3 UNet) Logo Competition,” said Adi Wisnu Nugroho.
In the beginning of 2018, management student batch 2014 was crowned as the winner of the ASEAN + 3 Unet Logo competition which was attended by 93 participants, with 152 registrants from 9 ASEAN countries.
For his achievement, Wisnu won cash prize worth of 800 US Dollars or equivalent to Rp. 10,810,810.8 along with certificates of recognition from ASEAN +3 UNets.

Not only that, Wisnu also a member of UNAIR Student Executive Board (BEM) in 2015 and 2016. He also joined Planning and Development Agency (BPP) UNAIR to boost towards top 500 World Class University.
In 2017 until now, Wisnu has actively participated in building a new community with a colleague from UNAIR, Lingkar Sinergi. “I have also been in business with my friend since 2015,” he added.
Wisnu admitted that he had to addapt to the course because of crossing department and he proudly got GPA 3.72. His plan after graduation are finding a job and taking certification or courses to improve his competence.
“Nowadays, it’s not enough for us if we only have degree to compete in work place” he said.
When we are entering university, we are required to explore ourselves by venturing out our comfort zone. By trying new things such as participating in student’s organization, competitions, and research with lecturers can provide hard skills and soft skills that are not obtained when we are in class because there are a lot of new insight out there.
