The mental health talk show was divided into four sessions with different topics. The first session was opened by Andrea Gunawan (Independent Consultant and Date Coach) and Linda Setiawati, M.Psi., Psychologist (clinical psychologist for personal growth) who discussed toxic relationships. Furthermore, the second session was by Adjie Santosoputro (practitioner of emotional healing) and Atika Dian Ariana, S.Psi., M.Sc (clinical psychologist and mental health) discussing How to Respect Others in Social Media.

For the next session, there were Alvi Syahrin (writer) and Linda Setiawati, M.Psi.,Psychologist (clinical psychologist for personal growth) to discuss learning to rest not to quit. The session was closed by dr. Jiemi Ardian (mental health professional) and Octian Anugeraha (founder of SINGYOURMIND . Com ) discussed How Can We Find the One .

Desi Putri Pertiwi or known as Tiwi, the person in charge of the activity, explained that this time FPsi BEM UNAIR collaborated with Ibunda.id and Menjadi ManusiaMenjadi Manusia is a platform that concerned with mental health.

For this collaboration, Tiwi believed that whatever is good through social media and one of them is global mental health day celebration, can attract people especially millennials to be aware of the importance of maintaining the mental health of each individual.

“In this talk show, we invited and educated people to become individuals who are aware of the importance of mental health in a more casual and preferable by the millennials,” she said.

In addition, continued Tiwi, art exhibition is an exhibition that combines elements of art and psychology. There are several psychological methods through means of self-reflection. For example, through a dark room. Visitors can express their feelings by shouting or spilling paint.

Then, the visual room was surrounded by quotes about mental health and several other visual arts. There was a screen room for screening short films about mental health.

Music Therapy, which is a room that has five different sound categories such as therapeutic instruments for people with schizophrenia. And finally the release room for therapy releasing negative energy in the individual.

“Art exhibitions and vent corners are places to reduce and let go of existing problems by daring people to tell their stories. Because, when you are aware, individuals will be better able to realize when they feel different so they can maintain their own mental health, “he said.

“In addition, wall of thoughts, visitors can share stories by writing them on the wall,” he added.

Tiwi hoped that the event can provide education to public, to help them maintaining mental health. And, when they are able to maintain their mental health, they can become agents to remind or educate the importance of mental health to the surrounding community by not excluding their own health. (*)
