UNAIR NEWS – Annisa Axelta has made the first step towards her goals. The student from DKI Jakarta succeeded to become the best graduate of Faculty of Psychology Universitas Airlangga. Finished her study in 3.5 years, Annisa got 3.71 GPA.
Annisa admitted, it was not easy to made the achievement. The longing for the family and the distant home made Annisa struggle more. Therefore Annisa was determined to finish her study in 3.5 years. She said that the key to success is to work hard and always pray.
“Somewhere, between the tired days, hard works, and sleepless nights, a prayer is answered,”she said.
The student born on October 12, 1996 has planned to continue her master’s professional program (S-2) on clinical focus. After that, she wanted to devote her knowledge to work in the hospital or even open psychological practice special for adolescents and adults.
Her great wish was based on her desire to help fellow human beings. Because Annisa believes that humans have positive traits that they can use to actualize themselves.
During her college years, Annisa was active off campus, such as participating in AIESEC, Surabaya, an international organization for youths which develop their leadership potential. During the long holiday, Annisa also attended an internship at one of the hospitals in South Jakarta.
Annisa said thatwhat is required now is not only GPA, but also qualifications. In addition to pursuing a high GPA, it is better to add qualifications in line with the field of study. They would be more valueable for applying jobs.
“Do not forget to always diligently read, build good relationships with lecturers, and do the tasks. Everything we do must be balanced. That’s the key to life. Balanced between learning, college, playing, enjoying life, and everything. The important thing is, never fear failure, never stop praying and being thankful, ” she concluded. (*)
