UNAIR NEWS – As academics who has research results and insights on various sciences, experts of Universitas Airlangga is often referred by various state institutions. One of them is Indonesian Regional Representative Council (DPD-RI). The purpose of the activity was to provide input on various issues, especially on bill draft.
This time, Committee IV DPD-RI involved experts from UNAIR to review the Bill on Management of State and Regional Receivables on Tuesday, February 20. Being held at Kahuripan Room 301, Secretary of University, Drs. Koko Srimulyo, M.Sc., in his speech said that in discussing the Bill of State and Regional Receivables, the university had invited several experts.
“UNAIR is always ready to provide inputs to state institutions. Therefore, regarding the Bill of State and Regional Accounts we bring experts from the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Law to provide input, “said Koko.
In response, Secretary General of DPD-RI Samekto Ambinuso, S.H., M.E., said that the discussion on the Bill of State and Regional Receivables was inspired by the audit findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).
“Therefore we need input from the viewpoint of economists and law experts at UNAIR,” he said.
Furthermore, the event moderated by Dr. Imron Mawardi was opened directly with the introduction of Drs. Pardiman, M.Si., of the expert team on the bill draft. In his presentation, he thanked for representing the bill draft team and given the opportunity to learn from experts at UNAIR.
“We hope that with the completion of this discussion, it can be useful to improve governance management of state and regional receivables,” he said.
