Rebhika said, in Indonesia the incidence rate (prevalence) of metabolic syndrome is large and is expected to rise. This is due to many factors. The most important is the lifestyle, lacking of exercise and physical activity, and consumption of food that are not nutritious like junk food.

“Right now technology has made it so easy to order online food. So the public move less. Also people like watching TV while snacking with high calories snack. Then cigarettes are also one of the factors, ” she added.

In the promotion of health, Rebhika and the team carried out movement that prevents and overcomes metabolic syndrome, CERMAT and CERDAS. Here’s the posters that Rebhika and the team created.
