UNAIR NEWS – Indrodjojo Kusumonegoro or known better as Indro ‘Warkop’ said that the development of creative industry in Indonesia is full of youngsters. The statement was made shortly before going on stage in “EMTEK Goes to Campus” event at Airlangga Convention Center on Wednesday, September 13.
“Creativity is obviously from youngsters. The problem is whether they are willing to develop the creative industry, “said the actor Indro Warkop in the movie” Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss “Part 2.
To drive the creative industry, young people must have the willingness to sharpen the creativity and capable of moving the economy while also benefiting others.
“What the creative industry need is our willingness as young people to do, not just to discuss but also to make. It is a statement that the creative industry belongs to young people. Well, this guy is an example, ” said Indro while pointing pointing Abimana Aryasatya next to him.

Abimana agreed with Indro’s statement. According to the actor born in Jakarta, the creative industry does require the taste and mind of young people. He also wants young people to keep creating innovative products. Because the digital development makes information flow fast and limitless.

Indro then motivated youngsters to keep creating new works while they can. This is closely related to consistency. The man who started his career since 1978 proved that he still can exist in the entertainment industry, something that has been his passion.

In line with Indro, Abimana, the cast of ” Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika ” also said that he has been acting for half of his life. He also advised youngsters to consistently live the life they choose.
