UNAIR NEWS – Secretary of Research and Innovation Board (LPI) Universitas Airlangga, Dr. Ir. Sri Hidanah, MS., as representative of LPI Universitas Airlangga achieved a reward from National Library of Republic of Indonesia at Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) on Monday (11/9).

The achievement was included at “Grey Literature” category, which also achieved by Education University Ganesa, Bali and Padjajaran University, Bandung.

The award was announced in the middle of an event “Indonesia International Book Fair” hosted by National Library Republic of Indonesia at Jakarta Convention Centre on 6th – 10th September 2017.

“This achievement provide for publisher of magazine, journal, bulletin, books and grey literature both from public university and private university,” kata Dr. Ir. Sri Hidanah, MS., during interview Unair News

She told that why Universitas Airlangga achieved “Grey Literature” predicate because Universitas Airlangga consistent and always sent the research result to National Library of Republic of Indonesia. It continuously provided by Universitas Airlangga in accordance with constitution number 4 years 1990 about archiving of print and records work.

Based on literature Grey Literature is one of various collections in university library which includes research or scientific document, seminar paper government paper.

I regard to opinion of Mason in Evrita (2010) and Raymond John Prytherch (2005), Grey Literature is used to describe the publication such as seminar paper, research, essay, thesis that published by government, academic institutions, research center and community, and board or association.
