Rector Asks for Supports Towards World Class University to New Employees

UNAIR NEWS – Oath taking of civil servants (PNS) in Universitas Airlangga has just been done. There were about 93 civil servants having their oath taken on Thursday December 29 in Airlangga Convention Center (ACC). It was attended by Rector and officials of UNAIR.

“Their oath contains their promise to the society, nation and the country. They must know that their oath is witnessed, known and recorded by Allah. We believe that Allah, The All-Knowing God, knows anything we say. To do their job based on the regulation and existing laws,” said UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak, dalam sambutannya.

In this occasion, UNAIR Rector said that the objective to reach Top 500 World Class University is not easy. Therefore, collaboration from all civil servants either lecturers or educational staffs are needed to achieve the target.

“To reach 500 Top Class University is not easy so let’s support all programs achieving World Class University,” said Prof. Nasih.

All new civil servants were  lecturers and educational staffs in faculties, units, institutes and boards. With their inauguration as civil servants, UNAIR civil servants now are 2,546 people. They are 1,413 lecturers and 1,133 educational staffs. (*)
