UNAIR NEWS – In the celebration of 62nd Dies Natalis of Universitas Airlangga, Alumni Association (IKA) Universitas Airlangga has launched a book on 100 alumni profiles called Jejak Langkah Ksatria Airlangga. nThe book launching was attended by the production team, UNAIR officials, alumni and some mass media either printed of online.

“This book is a form of UNAIR’s commitment to deal with the nation’s problems. It is also to motivate the young alumni and also students,” said Haryanto basoeni as the Chairman of IKA UNAIR.

UNAIR is recorded to have about 120 thousand alumni, but only 100 alumni are profiled in the book. They are alumni with great works and achievements in the society, either in Indonesia or abroad. Some of them are politicians, public officials, or distinguished medical practitioners, they were chosen by IKA faculty recommendations in collaboration with the faculties.

“Alumni in this book are parts of an effort to gain university reputation towards World Class University the criteria is employer reputation,” said Junaidi Khotib as the Vice Rector IV UNAIR.

Beside the launching of Jejak Langkah Ksatria Airlangga, UNAIR through Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) also launched a book, 100 Pakar UNAIR. It is officially launched in Rolaas Café, Surabaya, attended by the media personnel of Surabaya. (*)
