UNAIR NEWS – There were 42 students of law from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, affiliated with Business Law Community (BLC) UGM made a visit to Faculty of Law UNAIR. The program named “UGM Visit FSB” was held to share views with the member of Forum Study Business (FSB). They also participated in a workshop “Alternative Dispute Resolution” in Pancasila Hall on Saturday, October 15.
There were two speakers invited in the workshop, Abdullah S.H.., M.Si., a representative of Malang Judiciary and Faizal Kurniawan S.H., M.H., LL.M. as the secretary of UNAIR FH Dean and also a lecturer of civil law.
UGM Visit was done to expand the knowledge of both members of BLC and FSB on alternative dispute resolutions as well as to hone their soft skill. Furthermore, the visit was done to strengthen ties between the members of BLC UGM and FSB FH UNAIR and also to introduce NBLC (National Bisnis Law Community) so all FH UNAIR students interested in Business Law.
“The objectives of the visit was, first, to expand our knowledge and insight, especially on alternative dispute resolutions. Second, to hone our softskill. Third, to strengthen ties between BLC and FSB and fourth to introduce NBLC to all students of FH UNAIR interested in Business Law,” said Irfan Naufal as the President Director of FSB 2016-2017.
As planned, UGM Visit FSB will be held annually. Prior to this event, FSB members also participated in “Legal Discussion” in UGM on April 16, 2016.
“This is our working program between BLC and FSB and may be held every year, and there’s possibility that FSB will visit UGM,” added Irfan.(*)
