UNAIR NEWS – During Display UKM 2016 in Student Center (SC) Campus C Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), the committee also performed assessment to 37 participating UKM stand. There are four criteria of assessment, theme suitability, vision and mission, cleanliness and UKM mascot.
Based on the total score given by three judges, from the four criteria, scouting UKM stand got the highest score and named as the first winner. Second place was Mata Angin Theatre, and Third winner was KSR PMI (Indonesian Red Cross Volunteer Corps).
”the winning stands got money prize, first place got Rp 500 thousand, second place got Rp 300 thousand, and third place got Rp 150 thousand,” said Adi, the person in charge.
As we know, there are 37 UKMs of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) participating in annual event “Display UKM 2016”, in SC UNAIR, August 29-30, 2016. The 37 UKM were divided into 5 divisions, sports, religious, martial arts, arts and special interest. They held display UKM with independence day theme and Panca Tirta as the spirit showed by five divisions of the 37 UKMs of UNAIR.
Display UKM was opened by the Director of Student Affairs UNAIR Dr. M. Hadi Subhan, SH., MH., CN in the presence of 6,726 freshmen. They were invited in turns as the space was limited in two days. The students can free choose the activity they want with the UKM.
”Not bad. We got 150 new members while we can be active with only 50 members,” said an activist of Citizenship UKM. This UKM collaborated with BKKBN, for example to publicize the prevention of early marriages. (*)
