UNAIR NEWS – As a form of expanding knowledge, Department of Periodontics with Indonesian Dentists Association (PDGI) held a Community Professional Development (CPD). It was held in Airlangga Medical Education Center (AMEC) building, the CPD was held as Periodontic Update Seminar with The art of Periodontic as a theme, in the end of May. If Periodontics all this time was meant as a knowledge limited to dental tissue, then 183 participants have learned more on aesthetic treatment in periodontics.

Some experts on Periodontics FKG UNAIR were invited  to give seminar and workshop. The topics presented were various. Some of them were about esthetic treatment to correct smile line which is too high, artificial gum creation on recessed teeth case, esthetic treatment to lengthen dental crown appearance and preparation of dental socket before implant attachment.
