Warrior in Insurance Sector
Sometimes profession of a person does not have any connections with their education. It happens to Nuris Yusuf Laksono, an alumnus of History Faculty of Humanities Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) who currently works as Brand Manager PT Asuransi Umum Bumida 1967 Surabaya. Started as a management trainee in the national insurance company, Nuris, who was an athlete of Pencak Silat Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) made it after a few tests. Nuris admitted that many things from his martial arts are useful at work such as mentality during learning. Having difficulties to adjust, he decided to take professional expertise on insurance from Indonesian Insurance Managemenet Expert Association (AAMAI) and Jakarta International College (JIC) and others.

Student Admission Evaluated
SBMPTN has been announced, there are 126,804 applicants passed SBMPTN 2016. According to Minister of research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohammad Nasir said that there will be evaluation. The objective is to find students with excellent achievements. Kemenristekdikti will formulate a way that the students can try university tests more than once. Meanwhile, this year the successful applicants spread in 78 universities in Indonesia. From the SBMPTN results, ITB had the highest average score on science and technology with average score 700.10. Then on social and humanity, the highest score was admitted in Law program of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) with 842.69.

An Expert on Traditional Dance
Interested in Arts made Lisna Sari, a student of English Department, Faculty of Humanities Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) intended to learn various forms of art, one of them is Dance. She admitted that since she was a child, she was an active child until she finally chose dancing for her free time activity. Lisna herself liked Aceh cultural performance best. So she decided to joined Aceh Culture’s Lover Community in the campus. From the community she learned Saman dance by herself. She started to be interested in Saman because she was actually already an expert on traditional dances. She thought to improve her skills in dancing by performing dances of other regions and Saman was her choice.
