UNAIR NEWS – Humans and animals should live in harmony and support each others. So it is only appropriate if humans with reasoning ability respect and never harm animals.
But some people who have direct contact with animals do not mind the animal welfare, especially farm and pet animals. As of today, there are still many cases of painful and improper animal butchery. Also animal neglect and torture which cause death.
With these as background, a seminar and a talk show “Pemeliharaan Hewan Ternak dan Hewan Kesayangan Berdasarkan Animal Welfare dalam Perspektif Publik”, was held by Veterinary Medicine program PDD UNAIR Banyuwangi, in Pondok Wina Banyuwangi restaurant, on Saturday, May 21.

Riska Yulinta Viandini, MMR, avgrooming expert with international certificate, and Prof. Dr. Bambang Sektiari Lukiswanto, drh., DEA., FKH UNAIR professor who is also the Head of UNAIR Quality Assurance Board.
