UNAIR NEWS – As a way to get closer with civitas academica, UNAIR radio crew held “Todaycoustic Goes to Campus”. This time, UNAIR Radio crew presented four acoustic groups in Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) in Taman Griya Krida Mahasiswa FEB UNAIR, on Tuesday, May 17.
In the musical acoustic performance this time, UNAIR Radio worked with Department of Arts and Sports Student Executive Board (BEM) to hold it in one and a half hour. Four acoustic groups from Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNAIR performing were Moontown Pedestrian, Hurly Burly, SMFM, and Lumiere. Each group sang three songs.
Afifah Nurrosyidah, todaycoustic crew from UNAIR Radio said that the event was to make UNAIR Radio closed to civitas academica. “With this event, hopefully UNAIR Radio will be known as a student media which facilitate their interests in Music,” said Afifah.
Not few students of Campus B UNAIR came to see the show. The event held during break ran well and relaxed with musical group performances and fresh jokes of the hosts.
Afifah hoped that ‘Todaycoustic Goes To Campus’ can be done in all faculties in UNAIR.
UNAIR Radio has been few times doing off air programs. Last August 2015, UNAIR Radio presented an acoustic band from Surabaya filled with UNAIR alumni, Silampukau. The event was held in the dusk of Campus C lake UNAIR and attended by students, UNAIR staff and local community. (*)
