UNAIR NEWS – Various collaboration has been developed with many parties, from healthcare industries, education institution, economic practitioners and now UNAIR will collaborate with PT. Citilink Indonesia. Through Airlangga Travel, UNAIR is negotiating possibilities of cooperation in Vice Rector IV office, on Wednesday April 27.
This negotiation is a step forward to realize vision of university holding implemented by UNAIR. Vice Rector IV, Junaidi Khotib, S.Si., M.Kes., Ph.D., as the vice rector overseeing university holding aspect, welcomed well the representatives of PT. Citilink Indonesia. For Junaidi, the status of UNAIR as a State university acting as legal entity (PTN-BH) was an opportunity to develop and expand institutional steps ever wider.
“PTN-BH status is an opportunity for UNAIR to manage the university independently, I hoped with a cooperation with the airline, we can give benefits to each other,” he said.
Non Government Account PT. Citilink Indonesia, Karina Desiria Dewi stated that the collaboration was proposed last year. Karina considered that Education sector has a strategic role on air transportation.
“We see the education sector as a strategic partner, besides work trips, activities which involves students to use airlines’ service are also quite high,” she said.
Later on, this visit will continue to signing session between UNAIR and Citilink. Besides, the collaboration will give advantages to UNAIR staff, lecturers, employees in faculties and even students will be at ease to use Citilink service. (*)
