Dutch Student in National Physiotherapy Seminar of Vocations Faculty

UNAIR NEWS – Sharing knowledge cannot only be done by lectures in class but can also be done in a discussion or a workshop. It was stated by Nuniek Nugraheni, dr., Sp,KFR(K) in a national seminar  titled “Physiotherapy Management for Knee Osteoarthritis with Multi Modality Approach”, on Saturday, April 2 in  Diagnostic Center Building(GDC) Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya.

In her opinion, this seminar provided more explanation for medical staff and the public directly from the expert especially on osteoarthritis.

The head of D3 program of Physiotherapy in Faculty of Vocations stated the student association of physiotherapy as the organizing committee was proud as the event held had attracted academicians’ attention from many regions and even from Holland.

“The participants were coming from many regions, such as Malang, Solo, and even from Avans University Holland,” she said in the middle of the event.

Similar with  dr. Nuniek,  the head of organizing committee,  I Made Putri Larasati, said that the seminar on Physiotherapy Management is a part of student exchange program which involves students from Holland. “The student of Avans University being here was a form of collaboration with Physiotherapy Unair. All this time they always come every year,” she said.

It was started at 6.30. The speakers were dr. Patricia Maria, K.Sp, KFR (Medical Staff Coordinator KFR Airlangga Hospital), Trissilowati, SST.Ft (Physiotherapy staff of medical rehabilitative installation in dr.Soetomo Hospital), also Sukadarwanto, SST.Ft, M.kes , the expert of Knee Osteoarthritis from Surakarta.
