UNAIR NEWS – Collaborating with prestigious international university can be the best way to boost local institution to perform at international level. That based the Student Executive Board, student family from Faculty of Medicine (BEM KM FK UNAIR) to collaborate with National University of Singapore (NUS).
The form of the agreed collaborations were established by signing the MoU by BEM FK UNAIR 2015 Chairman Kamal Musthofa and Wong Wen Kai as the President of 67th EXCO Medical Society of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS.
This MoU signature was a part of events of Inter-Med Scod Meeting held in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS recently. Besides Kamal, all the heads of departments in BEM KM FK UNAIR 2015 and Rachmat Agung Widodo the chairman of BEM KM FK UNAIR 2016 were there.
With the agreement, FK UNAIR students legally collaborate with students from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine NUS, in a form of student exchange or other annual programs.
“We proudly announce that we have sign MoU with BEM KM FK UNAIR,” said Wen Kai.
For FK UNAIR, this cooperation is an achievement as with it UNAIR can work with the best medicine faculty in Asia which is known for its advanced science and technology.
General Secretary of BEM KM 2015 Ricky Indra Alfaray stated that this Inter-MedScod Meeting was a big step of FK UNAIR which tries to ‘go international’. “This event is an opportunity for FK UNAIR students to gain experience from any activity at international level scheduled in the near future,” said Ricky.
In the MoU signing session, BEM KM FK UNAIR played its profile video of the students’ organization. The event of Medical Science and Application Competition (MEDSPIN) which was the biggest high school student competition in South East Asia with thousands of participants was also introduced to NUS delegation.
