UNAIR NEWS – Students in various students clubs (UKM) are all out to make UNAIR a world classs university. In the first three months of 2016, there are so many medals they have achieved, at national or international level. Last time, UKM PSHT also made an achievement at international level.

In The 3rd Sebelas Maret SH Terate International Championship held in Surakarta in March, UNAIR got a gold medal (artistic single), one silver medal (artistic group men) and two bronze medals (Class A fighting category men and women).

Besides UNAIR, the participants were from other PSHT in other campuses or branches in Indonesia, Venezuela, Timor Leste, The Philippines, The Nation of Brunei Darussalam, Polandia and Vietnam.

To make global achievement, hardwork is needed. PSHT UNAIR trained intensively for the last couple of months. “The practice was 6 hours a day. We did it in a various way to avoid boredom. We spent our holiday at campus. But we’re happy for this,” said  Baharuddin Fatih, one of the members.

This UKM hoped that this achievement could motivate every member. There are still many other events to make achievements, Pomnas, PON, Sea Games, and POM ASEAN. (*)
