UNAIR NEWS – On March 19 and 20, 2016 UNAIR is holding its graduation ceremony. There are many things to prepare for event which is held four times in a year. One of them is a briefing session for to be graduated students in Faculty of Economy and Business (FEB UNAIR) which also invited its alumni.
With ‘Strategies to Develop Career and Entrepreneurship’, the event was attended by Alumni UNAIR Accounting Class 1983, Dr. Prasetya. In the occasion, the alumnus who was the President Director of Indonesian Currency Printing General Company (Perum Peruri) explained about technology advancement and cyberspace dynamics. In addition, the man born in Surabaya on November 23 1960 was also emphasize the importance of being open and dynamic in the changing era as human resources competition is unlimited.
“In Peruri itself, we always innovate and adapt to meet the demand, one of them was the rise of e-money, in the future we will change strategy from printed to digitalized money,” he said.
Apart from alumni advice, the briefing held in Fadjar Notonagoro Hall also informs students on Human Resources presented by Director of Human Resources Peruri, Noor SDK Devi. The alumnus of ITB emphasized the importance of choosing line of work as it should be done with heart, clear objectives and in line with our expertise.
“In professional world, it’s important for us to understand our true self? What are we doing? What shall we do in the future? Those three things need to be thought well,” he said. (*)
