UNAIR NEWS – A representative of Salahaddin University Erbil, Abdullah Y. Hewa visited UNAIR last Tuesday, March 14. His visit was to finalize the plan of joint publication and conference with UNAIR. He was received by UNAIR Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nasih, MT., SE., Ak, CMA and other high officials.
Vice Rector III Prof. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, Ir., M.Si., Ph.D., said that the guest from Kurdistan Erbil (near Iraq and Syiria) was following up agreement of previous collaborations. It related to UNAIR willingness to attend in an international symposium ICOWOBAS held in 2017. “In 2015, UNAIR was the host. Next year, the life science event held every other year is going to be held in Erbil. Insya Allah UNAIR is going to attend,” said the professor from UNAIR Faculty of Fisheries and Marine.
Amin said that ICOWOBAS was a large scale international event attended by delegations of many countries. Therefore, it was an honor for UNAIR to be able to participate regularly in the event. Through this kind of activities, UNAIR networking at international level is expanded. (*)
