UNAIR NEWS – The festivities of UNAIR Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) 33rd Anniversary continue with an event of Psychology Family In Harmony. Attended by all UNAIR FPsi family and alumni, it was also attended by the second Dean of the Faculty in 1997-2000, Prof. dr. Marlina Setiawati Mahajudin, Sp.Kj.
All attendees enjoyed themselves in celebration which had many activities like balloons flying, morning exercise, breakfast session, and many games. The committee also prepared a spot for family snapshots. It started from six in the morning to eleven o’clock was opened by the Faculty of Psychology Dean, Nurul Hartini, M.Kes., Psikolog.
“This event is a part of the FPsi UNAIR anniversary celebration, and it has been a tradition every year,” she said.
Similar with Nurul, Rudi Cahyono, M.Psi., Psikolog., as a lecturer of educational psychology, explained that all events were based on social sharing concept, but special for the morning exercise it was held as family activity.
“Internal objective from all these events is to recall the memories of the faculty and to strengthen ties of families and their elements, the external objective is mainly to share,” he said.
In the same occasion, the Head of Student Executive Board (BEM) FPsi, Muhammad Hanifa Khairurahman, said that this year anniversary was celebrated with different themes and essences. He also has hopes for the faculty in its 33rd anniversary.
“For me personally, I hope Faculty of Psychology will be more solid in its performance improvement and its teamwork as a part of Universitas Airlangga,” he said.
The celebration was ended by giving gifts. All employees, lecturers, alumni, and students of the Faculty, had opportunities to get unique prizes to take home. (*)
