UNAIR NEWS – The atmosphere of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) room on the second floor of UNAIR Management office became emotional on Friday, January 29. Dozens of PIH employees and Newsroom crews bade one of newsroom reporters, Inda Karsunawati, a final farewell.
The newly wed reporter was leaving for Taiwan next February. She is going to take her master degree at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUS). The campus has granted her scholarship for two years. The woman from Jombang is going to study Biomedical Engineering.
“I have problems in moving on, so I will maintain contact with my friends here. I will always miss you,” said the Faculty of Science and Technology alumnus with brimming eyes. Some of her friends also shed tears as they have been together since 2012.
Secretary of PIH Eduardus Bimo Aksono said that her performance as a reporter was excellent. He believed she can commit to her study and finish it as planned. “Stay focus on learning. The key is focused on your study,” said the lecturer from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who had conducted researches in Japan and France.
One of Inda’s partner in Newsroom, Defrina Sukma Satiti said that Inda’s consistency always inspires her friends. “Hopefully, she will give more contributions to the wider society after she finishes her study,” said the alumnus of UNAIR Political Science.
The farewell session was ended with taking a group photo and giving souvenirs. A mug with signatures of PIH employees and Newsroom crew was happily accepted by Inda. (*)
