UNAIR NEWS – Amalia Rosyadi Putri’s career after her master study was quite smooth. The woman with a daughter graduated in 2015 is now a successful broadcaster in Radio Andika Kediri. She was also appointed as a lecturer at IAIT (Institut Agama Islam Tribakti) Kediri and a guest lecturer on media promotion interest at STIKES Surya Mitra Husada Kediri.
“I had been a broadcaster before. But I resigned when I had my master degree at UNAIR so that I could focus on my study. After I graduated, I was asked to be a broadcaster there again,” said the alumnus of Kediri State Islamic Academy (STAIN) on Islamic Communication and Propagation.
Regarding her profession as a lecturer, the ISNU Kediri activist, who finished her master program in three semesters with A for the master thesis, said that it was a calling. The woman who is also active as an MC in various events has planned to seek a doctoral scholarship in the near future. One of the scholarship programs she targeted was the one from the Ministry of Religious Affair. “I want to apply for the 5000 doctoral scholarship program for Islamic higher education proclaimed by President Joko Widodo. I’m currently making preparation for the required documents,” said the activist of NU.
She has not decided where she will pursue her doctoral degree. It can be in East Java or other regions or even abroad. She is considering all possibilities with her campus and her family. (*)
